Service Description
Join us at BIA Women’s Strength Studio for an empowering and educational workshop designed to support women through every stage of the pregnancy journey - before, during, and after birth. Hosted by women’s strength coach Denise Kontara alongside Registered Midwife Sophie Karidis and Women’s Health Physiotherapist Janet Darwish of [Femme Focus Physiotherapy](https://femmefocusphysiotherapy.com.au?utm_source=chatgpt.com), this workshop combines movement, education, and practical guidance to help women better understand and support their changing bodies. Together, we’ll explore: * Understanding your core and pelvic floor * Breath connection and pressure management * Training safely and confidently through pregnancy * Preparing the body for birth * Postpartum recovery and rebuilding strength * Common misconceptions around exercise and pregnancy * How to feel more connected, informed, and empowered in your body This workshop is suitable for women who are: * Trying to conceive * Currently pregnant * Newly postpartum * Wanting to better understand women’s health and pelvic floor function Whether you are already training, returning to movement, or simply wanting evidence-based guidance in a supportive environment, this workshop is designed to leave you feeling educated, reassured, and more confident navigating this stage of womanhood. Spaces are limited to allow for a more personal and interactive experience.
